About our classes
Our classes for teenagers are tried and tested, designed to complement and support the students taking French at school or who want to continue French outside school. We know what you need to get the best grade! Classes include work on the 4 skills: speaking, listening, writing and reading, through role-plays, picture stimuli, general conversation, applied grammar, translation into French and general writing skills. Contact us for IB revision directly. Maximum number of 5 students onsite.

Pre-GCSE 2
Monday 5pm-6pm (online)
This term we will focus on the past. By the end of the term, your child will be able to tell past events, such as previous holidays, using passé composé and to describe past habits, using imparfait.

GCSE 1

The topics if this term are « consumption and global environment issues ». Your child will be able to express predictions, to suggest solutions and to talk about future plans, using futur simple.

For this last term, we will continue to cover the last topics of the GCSE program, social issues and media. We will then learn and use specific vocabulary attached to those topics. Along with this we will work on explaining complex situations with precision and express detailed and well-argued opinions. We will continue our work with the tenses and review and reuse them as they are called into action.

A-LEVEL

Our French A and AS levels class supports the students in developing the four skills (speaking, listening, writing and reading). For those who will be taking their French exams and need a little extra help to get their confidence back. We focus on the students’ needs and will study in depth vocabulary, grammar in line with exam board’s themes and learn about the French society, Francophones countries and contemporary cultural events. We sit mock exams with past papers every term to get them ready!

Secondary Bilinguals
Friday 5pm – 6pm (online)
Secondary Bilingual French classes are meant for bilingual children before they start GCSE courses. We focus on writing and reading skills, with oral practice of course, in an immersive environment.
