Become a nez for a day! 

Discover the genesis of a perfume, with our scent expert Hélène Harvey, all in French!  

In the first part, you will learn how a perfume is created and how to discern the olfactive elements of a scent. 

In the second part, you will be given the opportunity to use your imagination and creativity.  Working with scent samples, you will decide on your perfect mix. You could draw your own bottle, chose a name, imagine which celebrity would be the face of your creation. Finally you will work on your French skills, and explain what your marketing plan will be, all in French! 

Please note no actual perfume is going to be made. We are working with scent samples.

Hélène Harvey is Co-founder and Director at Harrowdown Ltd. 

Hélène Harvey has more than 25 years’ experience in product strategy, management and development in fine fragrance, aromatherapy, spa, skincare and home fragrance.  She has worked internationally for Christian Dior, Clive Christian and The Body Shop. She graduated from ESCP with a Master’s degree in Management specialising in Marketing. Attended ISIPCA French perfumery school for post graduate studies. Published in "The Body Shop, an ethical yet profitable company", the International Museum of Perfumery (Grasse), Edisud Publication.
